Genius designer Sallie Trout built shelves into an inaccessible stairwell. This very innovative bookcase was built for a house in Austin, Texas dubbed the Jackalope Ranch. The books are made accessible by the use of a bosun’s chair that is safely fastened to a chain hoist that hangs from the ceiling. Now talk about the use of imagination!
